taisen's crockpot chili. I am not big on meats. I will eat meats but I prefer non meat food. I have wanted to do a chili with nothing more then a variety of beans , spice and tomato.

- You need 2 lb of of hamburger.
- It’s 2 of packets of taco seasoning ( any brand ).
- It’s 2 of big cans of tomato sauce.
- You need 2 of big cans of red kidney beans. light or dark. you can add any other beans as well.
- Prepare 1 of chili powder to taste.
- Prepare 1 of to 4 dashes of red pepper flakes.
- It’s 1 medium of or large onion.
- Prepare 1 of garlic powder to your taste.
- You need 1 of butter.

- start the crockpot on medium to high. add in the sauce a good amount of chili powder and and beans. drain half of the juice from the beans but add in half of it. I do this with only one of the cans not both.
- stir.
- add in some garlic powder , red pepper flakes, a little bit of chili powder and one packet of taco seasoning. stir well and cover..
- start up the hamburger in a skillet. add a small amount of garlic ,some chili powder and one to two sprinkles of red pepper flakes if you want extra spice. add almost half of the second packet of taco seasoning..
- cook the hamburger until it is no longer pink. when fully cooked add in the rest of the taco seasoning. mix well. if needed add a small amount of water to it. add it into the crock pot.
- cut up the onion and add into the crockpot.
- stir and let it simmer until your ready to eat..
- I keep mine on high for the first two to three hours. then I change it to medium for awhile. it depends on what time you want to eat and also if you like the beans tender or firm.
- this can sit on low all day long..
- taste taste taste !! make it spicier or lighter. I sometimes add butter to help with the flavor. you don't have to. I serve this with butter bread , rolls or cornbread. enjoy.
